Why do you think the topic of your book is important?
The objective of this book is to help readers manage their finances using biblical standards and principles. Jesus is concerned about every aspect of our lives, and the management of our finances is no exception. This book looks at wealth and finances from a biblical perspective. When it comes to finances we often turn to the world for help, instruction and solutions, however the Word of God can provide believers with revelation and insight into this area and reveal where our true treasure lies.
What did you learn from writing this book?
Sound financial principles are important, and the bible speaks about them however Jesus Christ is the true treasure. The bible says in Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. We are spiritually rich in Jesus Christ.
What is your favorite hymn and why?
What a friend we have in Jesus.
When I discovered the story behind this hymn, I fell in love with it even more. It shows us in the midst of hardship and pain, Jesus Christ is our strength and we can still give Him praise. It is a hymn the continues to stand the test of time and still brings tears to my eyes.
What is your favorite verse and why?
As an intercessor and lover of prayer it must be Colossians 4:2 “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
If you could sit down with someone for five minutes, what would you say to them?
Jesus loves you with an everlasting love. He has a plan and purpose for your life. Trust Him, love Him, surrender your life to Him and He will do great and mighty things in and through you.
