About the Author

Dan Petronelli was born and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts. He currently divides his time with his wife between West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and Stuart, Florida. He is a strong member of his local community and has served as a Christian worship leader. Dan Petronelli participated in Smith Magazine’s Six-Word Memoir contest, and his memoir was selected and later published by HarperCollins. When not with his family and friends, he can be found on the first tee … asking for another mulligan. Dan found a message in a bottle when he was a young boy tinkering on a rocky shoreline. It was a profound spiritual message that he has kept and still treasures today. This inspired story was written as a cherished Christmas gift for his family, and it is his hope that the SEED OF FAITH will also bring joy and continue to grow in the hearts of readers around the world.

What helps you to write? Do you eat snacks, listen to music? I like to have soft orchestral music playing in the background—it helps me stay focused, sets an emotional tone, and often inspires the rhythm and flow of my writing.

If you could travel back in time, what time period would you go to? I would travel back to biblical times to witness the life and teachings of Jesus firsthand—seeing His miracles, hearing His words, and feeling the faith that changed the world.

What is your favorite book and why? My favorite book is The Bible because it’s the greatest source of wisdom, comfort, and inspiration. Every time I read it, I find new meaning and strength that guides both my life and my writing.

What is your favorite hymn and why? My favorite hymn is How Great Thou Art because its words and melody capture the awe and wonder of God’s creation and the depth of His love. Every time I hear it, I’m reminded of His power, grace, and the beauty of faith.

What inspired you to write this book? I was inspired to write The Seed of Faith: A Christmas Miracle during a difficult time in my life when I placed all my trust in God. It became a story about the power of faith, hope, and how miracles can grow from even the smallest seed of belief.

I love spending time with my family, writing and recording songs that inspire others, and enjoying a relaxing day on the golf course—it’s the perfect mix of faith, creativity, and fun.

What is one question you would like readers to ask you? What would be your answer?

I’d love for readers to ask, “How has faith shaped your life?” My answer would be that faith has guided me through every challenge and joy—it’s the foundation of my writing and the reason I believe miracles still happen every day.
