Now seeing those things as insignificant, and understanding why her boyfriend left, Hope turns to her youth minister for help; with one burning question in mind: Who was she? Set on a path of self-discovery, Hope finds her day to day both unraveling and piecing together like a jigsaw as her perception begins to alter. Will she embrace how God defines her and ultimately learn what true happiness is?

About the Author

Since I could hold a pencil, I’ve be writing. In primary school, I wrote stories about my pets, my own version of princess stories, a classroom crush… In high school, I wrote stories about horses, adventures, my sister… However, as strong as the writing hobby was, I still pursued a career in Veterinary Nursing. It wasn’t until God intervened and moved me out of the city and into a small country town to be a farmer’s wife, that he resurfaced the writing desire – and gave me the stories. So was born my debut series, each book holding a part of my own testimony, Casts of Silver. It is my prayer that you enjoy the journey these stories take you on, and that they challenge, encourage and inspire you.

The series is centered around five youth group leaders, with the stories looking at very real circumstances that young people face in today’s world without sugar coating consequences of individual actions. Interview with the Author

1. Do you read books in this genre? If so, who do you like to read? Of all genre’s available, I do find Christian books to be my most preferred. Inspirational Authors such as Francine Rivers and Irene Hannon have left their mark in my mind and challenged me in my walk with Christ. I firmly believe that what we put into our minds is so powerful, that the only things I desire to feed my mind with is that which is uplifting and educational and Christ focused. I’m reminded of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:16 when he says we are to redeem the time because the days are evil.

2. If you could travel back in time, what time period would you go to? Being fascinated by all facets of history, I was drawn to trying to answer this question. The time period that sneaks in just above numerous others would be right at the beginning when Adam and Eve were new in the garden of Eden. I would love to see just how lovely everything was before evil entered the world.

3. What is one thing readers would be surprised to learn about you? I have a casual job as a school Bus driver. It’s a wonderful job, and enjoying the blessings it is bringing.

4. Share with me a few of your favorite things. A few of my favourite things? I love the fellowship of my brothers and sisters in Christ. There is nothing like great conversation! I love the big skies of where I live. I can see the sun rise and the sun set with uninterrupted views. I love the homeschool adventure I am on. Watching my two kids grow and discover at their own pace is great fun and I’m learning a lot too. The questions they ask is amazing!

5.What is one question you would like readers to ask you? What would be your answer? As each book contains parts of my own testimony, I find myself wondering if readers wonder which parts are facts and which are fiction in the book they are reading. My answer?
